Privacy policy
Last updated: 5 November 2026
In short
TimyFit stores your workouts only on your device. There are no accounts and no servers of our own. If you turn it on, the app sends anonymous usage data to help us improve it; never health data, weights or reps. There are no ads and we do not sell data.
Who is responsible
The app and this data are the responsibility of Manu García. For any privacy question, write to manugarciaes@gmail.com.
Data stored on your device
Your profile (goal, equipment, intensity, language and weight units), the sessions you do, the weights and reps you log, your last choice of time and place, whether you agreed to send usage data and the date you accepted the disclaimer. For the safety question at the start, we do not store your answer, only whether the intensity started at light.
This data never leaves your device and we have no access to it. It may be included in your device backups, depending on how you have set them up. If you delete the app, it is deleted.
Usage data (optional)
Sending usage data is off until you turn it on, at the start or in Settings > Privacy, and you can turn it off at any time.
If you turn it on, the app sends events such as starting or finishing a session, with its duration, goal, location, intensity and language, and the app's errors, so we can fix them. They are linked to a random identifier, not to your name or email. Weights, reps, your answer to the safety question and your location are never sent.
The legal basis is your consent. When you turn it off, the app stops sending data from that moment. As the data is anonymous, we cannot tell which data is yours.
Who processes usage data
We use PostHog as our analytics tool, with the data hosted in the European Union. PostHog processes it on our behalf and only to provide its service. The app asks it not to create person profiles or work out your location from your IP address.
Notifications
Phase-change alerts are local notifications: your own device schedules them and they do not go through any server.
What we do not do
We do not show ads, we do not sell or share your data for commercial purposes and we do not track you across other apps or websites.
Children
TimyFit is not intended for children under 16.
Your rights
You can ask for access to, correction or deletion of your data, or object to or restrict its processing, by writing to manugarciaes@gmail.com. You control the data on your device directly from the app. If you think we have not handled your data properly, you can complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency (aepd.es) or to the authority in your country.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will update the date above and, if the change is significant, let you know in the app.
